Last year, our company began working to build an initiative that's been on our minds for some time.

 

It struck me that if some small percentage of the profits that yoga businesses in the US earn cumulatively each year were dedicated back to India, where the teachings originate, India might have a shot at clean drinking water and other workable infrastructure.

 

With our business, personally, this is a difference that we are out to make. And we are inviting other businesses in the industry to join us. 

 

We're calling it The hOMage Initiative.

Twice a year, every year, Flow and Restore will guarantee one project to develop a piece of infrastructure for an identified community in India. 

This year, for the Spring of 2022, our initiative is partnering with the organization charity: water to contribute one Piped Tap Stand to a community in rural India, which you can learn more about below.

The total cost of this project will be $6,000 and we are looking to raise at least half of that communally. However, we are guaranteeing the entire project. 

How we recommend and encourage interested businesses and entrepreneurs to participate is like this:
Take a look, out over the course of the projects you've recently completed or plan to complete this year, and pledge the percentage of your choice of either gross or net profits from that one project to the initiative; whether that's $135 or $1,535.

We all can pay a small or large gesture of respect and gratitude back to the source of the teachings we've leveraged to create the incredible programming we get to offer each day. 

 

Our vision is that participation in this initiative will steadily increase over time and will become something that is a real force for honor and demonstration of innovative philanthropy in the world.
